Canine Etiquette Course – I come to you and your dog

This service is targeted to help dogs who harbour aggression towards other dogs or humans, flight risks (bolting), poor recall, excessive barking, barking at the window or out in the backyard, pull on the leash, have a dominant way of meeting new dogs or people, who suffer from extreme fear or anxiety, reactive on leash, food possession, harbour leash aggression, nervousness/insecurity, over-excitability, or overall poor manners.

My job is to teach you how to communicate with your pup in a way that your pup understands; through proper positioning of your body, timing, and patient-confident energy. My job is to encourage, educate, and give you the knowledge that I possess, about the canine language. I am here to help you every step of the way.

Smarty Pants Leash Walking course

This service is for dogs who pick up on training quickly! Dog’s of specific breeds designed to check back, retrieve, or get direction from a human. Sporting and working breeds and breed crosses. Not all dogs learn at the same pace. Herding and retrieving breeds that I’ve worked with in the past, who have come to my Canine Etiquette Course pick up the shadowing exercises in less than 7 days! So I thought I’d offer a service specially formulated for those dogs who’s only issue is leash pulling. This service is targetted towards dogs who do not have behavioral issues. All other behavioral issues including but not limited to: excessive barking, aggressive behavior, leash reactivity, possessive/territorial behaviours, jumping on guests, & barking at the window or fence, must attend the full 4 week Canine Etiquette Course. Puppy Socialization Camp

Puppy Socialization Day Camp: We as people, along with our dogs and all creatures are products of our environment. Dog parks and most dog daycares have multiple dogs with multiple personalities, multiple pasts, multiple bad habits and so on. These environments can have a lasting negative affect on your puppy’s social development. An insecure pup can end up only learning how to defend itself rather than building her confidence up and learning appropriate ways of play and introduction. A dominant dog can become prey driven if they’re playing with an insecure dog. A dominant dog playing with only dominant dogs can teach them to challenge each new dog they meet. And so on!

Exploration Vacation (Dog Boarding)

I have a fully treed, 10 acre acreage, 10 mins East of Sundre. My clients come from all over Calgary, Sundre, Olds, Cremona, Red Deer, Eagle Hill, Cochrane, Airdrie, Black Diamond, Okotoks, High River, Strathmore and everywhere in between!

For those of you who would prefer the convenience of having you pup’s picked up and dropped off, I offer a pick up and drop off service. Cost: $150.00 + GST, round trip. This is a flat rate, I will drive anywhere within 3 hours of the farm. You will not be charged per kilometre.
