For bonded dogs who don’t sleep well without each other’s company exercise pens are available!

Dogs are only placed in kennels when Jax is unable to supervise to ensure the dogs safety. Dogs are placed in their kennels during feeding times (two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening) as well as from 11pm – 5am overnight.

There are a couple of different options for dogs who aren’t used to a confined space. One being the exercise pen. Some dogs are more comfortable with an open canopy rather than the enclosed crate. If they’re still unhappy with that option Jax will bring them inside her home to ensure their comfort.

Due to the amount of activity dogs get at WildFree, anxious behaviour isn’t typically seen. But on the off chance they’re an extremely anxious case, Jax likes to use a natural tincture called “Calm – Natrapet”. This is an all natural liquid made up of different roots and herbs specially formulated to relieve anxiety and calm nerves . This does not make your dog sleepy or drowsy. It works within two minutes, you’ll watch the dog go from shaking and panting to relaxed and happy.

WildFree is unable to accommodate behavioral dogs for boarding. The Exploration Vacation is a social and interactive experience. However, we can absolutely set up an assessment if you’re interested in addressing your dog’s behavior.
